OCCUPATION: Hotel operator, farmerThe seventh of nine children. Three brothers served for the Union, but Storm was too young for the Civil War. Storm and his brothers were given some training in the Catholic faith by their mother, but he was an active member of the Baptist Sunday School as a young man. His wife was an active Adventist. Storm and Phoebe (also Phebe) operated a hotel at Glasco, KS, which was destroyed by fire in 1891, after which they moved to the farm north of Attica.
