On the 1910 census, he states he is 45 years old, had been married 18 years, immigrated in 1888 and was naturalized (Surname on census - Vezeski). On the 1920 census he states that he is 45 years old, immigrated in 1890 and was naturalized in 1907 (Surname on census - Rydel).

The marriage certificate states that he was born in 1865 and she in 1869. The license was issued 13 January 1892 and the duplicate certificate was returned 27 December 1892.
