John
Maggie was Walter Arnold Vanderslice's wife. This making her my grandfathers mother. My grandfathers name was Walter Andrew Vanderslice. Maggie's maiden name was Stanford.I guess you noticed that Robert j and Walter Arnold's date of death was the same day.It seems these two were feuding over money.Robert was fairly wealthy for his day.The story in the papers said that Walter shot his dad and his dad returned fire.My Grandfather always told me he thought that Robert Jr. shot both men,Grandfather was 18 at the time so he should have a good idea as to what happened. This occured in 1926 and the estate wasn't settled until 1945.My side of the family got 0.But atleast we have a story to tell. Later on Mike
