not with family in 1880 census
earlier info had 1853 as death and occurring in Switzerland cty Ind. Headstone shows different date and place in Mo.
Daniel's tombstone is no longer legible - it has been broken and is in pieces
right next to the one for Fannie, which is still legible (although somewhat
worn).Lancaster, MO is the county seat for Schuyler County.
Daniel's will is filed in Box 10, and was filed 5-24-1856 with Ora Blodgett
as administrator. \I read the stone several years ago - and it said Daniel Blodget, 76y 6m 13d -
which would make his death date somewhere around 7 Apr 1858. I do know that
Fannie shows up on the 1860 Schuyler county, MO census in Independence Twp,
#523-515 as a 69 y/o farmer (born in CT) who lived with her 2 daughters,
Louisa and Charlotte. She is also in the 1870 census (same twp with Louisa and Charlotte again)
