A newspaper article dated 5/5/1949 talks of the Weisz Grocery in Pawnee Ok, opened after the Cherokee Strip(9/16/1893)run by Maurice Weisz passed to his wife Esther following his death in 1931. As of 5/1/1949, it passed to son Cecil Weisz. In 1949 it was oldest grocery store in Pawnee under one-family management.

Morris WEISZ and Sam GOTLIEB left for Colorado Springs Wednesday evening.Maurice followed his aunt and uncle to the US and was first Weisz family member to come to US in 1892. Morris passport from going back home prior to 1931, then Czech., in possession of son Cecils family.

I think that her maiden name was Greenwood. In fact, I'm sure. Her father had a clothing store in Ohio. possibly Akron I don't know anything about the Gottleib connection, except that they had some friends by that name who lived in Perry.
