MARY E. EICHLER, 76, Ballard Street, Altamonte Springs, died Wednesday, April 14. Mrs. Eichler was a proof reader for a printing company. Born in Springfield, Vt., she moved to Central Florida in 1978. A member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Altamonte Springs, she also was a member of VFW Post 5405 Auxiliary, Winter Springs. Survivors: husband, John H.; son, Richard, Orlando; daughter, Marjorie M., New Haven, Conn.; brothers, Joseph Wilkicki, West Warwick, R.I., Michael Wilkicki, Stanley Wilkicki, both of Cranston, R.I., Walter Wilkicki, St. Louis; sisters, Edwina O'Connell, Providence, R.I., Bertha D'Adomo, North Providence, R.I.; five grandchildren

JAMES J. O'CONNELL Jr., ESQ.

O'CONNELL, JAMES J. JR., ESQ., 56, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, and formerly of Cranston, died Friday at the Botsford Hospital, Farmington Hills Michigan, from injuries sustained in a pedestrian accident in December. Born in Providence, he was a son of James J. O'Connell, Sr. of Meshanicut Valley Parkway, Cranston, and the late Edwina I. (Wilkicki) O'Connell. Jim lived in Pittsburg for twelve years before moving to Michigan four years ago. Jim was a 1974 graduate of Providence College, and a 1984 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law. He was a practicing attorney in both Michigan and Pennsylvania, and a member of both State Bar Associations. Jim was a past Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus, in Newcastle, PA. Besides his father, he leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral will be held Thursday, at 8:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the Church of Saint Mark, Garden City, Cranston. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visiting hours Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
