George B Smith

1880 census George living with his parents in West Grove Ar.

George and Ella lived in OK for a time while
(family lore has it) George was involved in prospecting for oil. The story
goes that Goerge was tricked into believing that there was no oil on his land and he
abandoned it, leaving his share to a disreputable partner. His stake later became a
huge oil field.
George and Ella/Ellen divorced (he was an alcoholic) and she, at
least, relocated -- first to Montana, then to California.

John Blake

Nathaniel Blake

Nathaniel was given the Advowson of Aisholt. He was rector of that church for 35 years and
is buried in the church.
