MULCAHY -- Diane B. Mulcahy, died peacefully at The Cottages on Monday, April 21, 2008 after a long battle with dementia. She is survived by her husband, Jack of 42 years; her children, Mitch Mulcahy and wife, Deanna of Albuquerque, Dana Zarcone and husband, Lyn of Chardon, OH, Kristen Costa and husband, Ron of Trumbull, CT; step-son, Marty M. Goehring and wife, Cheryl of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, and Grace Mulcahy, Sierra Zarcone, Kelly and Katie Goehring; "adopted" sister, Ginger Grossetete of Albuquerque; uncle, Richard C. Beers of Winter Park, FL; and several cousins. Diane was born on November 30, 1940 in Canton, OH to the late Dr. George W. Beers and Jeffie D. (Ferguson) Beers. She graduated from Highland High School and The University of New Mexico. Diane had a very successful career in real estate for over 20 years and was an associate broker with H. Parnegg Realty specializing in residential properties and received both the CRS and GRI designations. She was also very active in the community. Diane was a member of the Junior League, served on the boards of the New Mexico Symphony Guild, Albuquerque Zoo, UNM Alumni Association, Crime Stoppers, and the Animal Humane of New Mexico. Also, she was a former president of the Los Amapolis Garden Club and current Vice President of E.O.A. Cremation has taken place and a service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008, 2:00 p.m., at Central United Methodist Church, 201 University Blvd. NE. Diane will be dearly missed by her many friends and family.
