according to info from Arthur Weisz daughter s notes on family history, this Weisz did a lot of important work for Emperor Franz Joseph I King of Hungary and Emperor of Austria. Franz Joseph I ruled from 1848 to 1916. This Weisz was offered title of Baron from the King but he declined the title. The family had more than 2000 acres of land, covered with 200 cattle, 2000 sheep and produce. They made alchohol from potatoes. The Weisz family lived with their cousins the Gottlieb family together in a huge home.
